For interior use, there is a wide range of solution dyed polyester carpets which are ideal for boats as they clean easily and are very tolerant of moisture. These interior carpets can be glued or clipped down, or traditional smooth edge installation with underlay.

There is also a non-slip backing available which is suitable for boat use.  It serves the dual purpose of being an underlay and ensuring no movement. It is then easily lifted for cleaning or to access hatches.

Exterior carpets are usually patterned, cut and then bound with a tape binding suitable for outdoor use. Carpets can be glued or clipped down, with the majority of customers choosing clip down carpets so they can be removed for fishing or cleaning.
